As market leaders within the dairy category, they wanted to expand their offering and develop a best-in-class ice cream range, to capture the interests of young adults and families within Saudi Arabia and surrounding Gulf countries.
Our brief was to create a range identity and design system for Almarai’s new indulgent ice cream range, clearly setting them apart from competitors, and positioning them as the premium player within the ice cream category.
To do this, we created bespoke patterns for each product range reflecting the sensorial consumption experience, whilst signalling the premium quality of the product through building taste, indulgence and luxury cues into the typeface, pack and 360 design system.
